BEIJING, Aug. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Jennifer Aniston will guest star on old pal "Friends" star Courteney Cox's "Cougar Town" for the show’s season 2 premiere on Sept. 22, ABC announced Monday.
"She's going to play Courteney's shrink named Bonnie," executive producer Bill Lawrence tells EW.com about their TV reunion. "Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist."
Jennifer and Courteney have had 16 years' time friendship and a hit series, therefore their chemistry is highly expected. It's likely she'll trump even her "30 Rock" appearance.

For now, Jen's character is slated for just one episode, but Bill says he left the story open for a potential role reprisal.
“We’re very intentionally implying that it’s a therapist Courteney has been using for a while, and we’re certainly not going to make it like they’ll never see each other again,” he says. “So I’m crossing my fingers that if she has a good time it’ll happen again.”
