BEIJING, July 7 (Xinhuanet) -- The "Faith" singer George Michael has been arrested after he crashed his car into a shop front in London, according to media reports Wednesday.
A CCTV monitor showed that the 47-year-old singer lost control of his Ranger Rover and then smashed into the front of a camera store in Hampstead, north London.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed: "Police were called at approximately 3.30 a.m. on Sunday to reports of a vehicle in collision with a building."

The British singer was unhurt in the accident. He made the test for alcohol and drugs in a nearby police station and was released until August pending further inquiries.
The incident is the seventh time George, who openly admits to being a cannabis user, has been at the center of a police investigation into his driving.
Last year, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence when his Land Rover hit a lorry on the A34 in Berkshire.
