SYDNEY, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Scottish talent show sensation Susan Boyle announced on Wednesday that she will perform in Sydney in August.

Boyle had been set to perform at last month's Logies, but pulled out at the last minute.

Her manager, Andy Stephen, said the multi-platinum artist needed to rest and prepare to record her new album.

The 49-year-old, who took the world by storm after appearing on Britain's Got Talent, will take to the stage on Aug. 17, 21 and 25 before heading to New Zealand.
