BEIJING, May 19 (Xinhuanet) -- Hollywood couple John Travolta, 56, and his wife Kelly Preston, 47, is expecting their third child, the family announced Tuesday via their official websites.

"It's impossible to keep a secret…especially one as wonderful as this," reads the note. "We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella."

The couple has a 10-year-old daughter Ella.

Their son Jett, who was autistic, died in January last year at 16 after suffering an seizure while the family was vacationing in the Bahamas. The family had been working hard to get over the tragedy.

"We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives," Travolta said at the time.
