BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhuanet) -- Oscar-winner Halle Berry and her partner Gabriel Aubrey have broken up after four years together, according to media reports Sunday.

In an exclusive statement issued to Access Hollywood from Aubrey's agency, the Canadian model confirmed the end of their relationship and said they "will continue to have only love and respect for one another."

"While I will not comment on all of the wild inaccuracies being speculated about in the media, I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time," Aubry wrote.

"She is, and will forever be one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another. The "James Bond" actress, 43, and Aubrey, 34, met at a Versace store opening in New York in 2006 and have a two-year-old daughter named Nahla.

Berry has been married twice before, to David Justice and Eric Benet. As both marriages ended acrimoniously she vowed never to marry again, claiming she and Gabriel didn't need to wed to know how much they meant to each other.
