BEIJING, March 19 (Xinhuanet) -- What is "Oscar curse"? It means that shortly after many actresses win the Oscar, their marriages fall apart.

Unfortunately, brand-new Oscar winner Sandra Bullock became the victim of "Oscar curse" lately as reported by media Friday.

It was all started when Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, a tattoo model gave an interview to In Touch Weekly and talked about her affair with Jesse James, Bullock's husband. She told the magazine that she and James had sex at least once a week while Bullock was shooting "The Blind Side" in Atlanta in 2009.

On Thursday, Jesse James apologized to his wife and three children for the grief he had caused through a statement issued to People magazine.

"It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way," Jesse James said, "This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them."

He added that "the vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded," but offered no other details, saying, "Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment."

Representives for Bullock didn't response to the apology yet, but Bullock has reportedly moved out of the home she shared with James.

Sandra Bullock met the "Monster Garage" star in 2003 and married in 2005. Their five years of marriage hangs by a thread now.
