SANTO DOMINGO, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- U.S. screen star Angelina Jolie on Monday visited Haitian earthquake refugees being treated in Dario Contreras Hospital in the Dominican Republic.
Immediately after arriving at the hospital, Jolie, accompanied by her bodyguard and the son of Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa, Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, walked into the children's room where she had a chat with several children and a woman, who appealed to her for help, according the PR chief of the hospital.

Jolie also toured the hospital, accompanied by Dario Contreras' director Hector Quezada, with whom she coordinated aid.
