Selfly uses high-end stablization to create photos.The drone is controlled by a phone app with onscreen control sticks and automatic piloting options for specific shots.“It’s stable in the air, you put it wherever you want and you control it very easily.”
The images from the drone’s camera are connected to the smartphone using WiFi.“You actually look at the picture on your phone and you manipulate the picture the way you want it to be.You want it to be bigger to zoom in, you just manipulate it with your fingers to zoom in.The phone will translate it into flight orders, and it will just come over a bit closer.”
Folly charge: Selfly can only stand in the air for 5 minutes, that’s enough time to get 20 selfies.“Until now, you (have) had a front camera, a back camera, everyone had a back camera on his phone.And today, you have a third camera.It’s a detachable camera that you could take it off your phone, put it whatever (wherever) you want.You are not flying a drone, you are controlling your photo.”
