Investigators are trying to figure out why the Amtrak train that derailed in Washington State was going more than twice the speed limit. Early details indicate a conductor-in-training was in the cab with the engineer when the train went off the rails.
Cardinal Bernard Law, the disgraced former archbishop of Boston has died. He was 86. Back in 2002 it was revealed that Law and other church leaders transfered priests that molested children without notifying police, parents.
And a dozen people are dead, about twenty others injured including seven Americans when a bus carrying cruise ship passengers to Mayan ruins flipped over in Southern Mexico.
