Chief Justice John Roberts will administer the oath of office on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol at around noon Eastern time. Incoming Press Secretary Sean Spicer says the President-elect is putting the final touches on his inaugural address:
(Spicer) “I think it’s going to be less of an agenda, and more of a philosophical document, a vision of where he sees the country.”
After an Inaugural luncheon, the new President, Vice-President and their families will take part in the Inaugural Parade down Pennsylvania Avenue.
The official inaugural activities will conclude with a service at National Cathedral Saturday morning.
