When it comes how consumers are feeling about the economy, a recent survey finds they’re feeling pretty good.
The Conference Board’s confidence index was 97.3 in July, basically the same as it was in June.
Consumers’ attitudes toward the economy rose to the highest level since September though their outlook about the future has slipped.
The July survey was the first to measure the mood of consumers since Britain voted to leave the European Union. That decision rattled financial markets, but it doesn’t seem to have bothered Amercian consumers much.
