Ding! Fox ran to open the door.
“I’m here,” said Bear cheerfully.
“Oh, dear—I mean, hello!” said Fox. He was trying to stand in front of the painting.
“What are you hiding?” Bear asked.
“Well, uh, it’s a surprise.” Fox moved away.
“It’s a picture of me!” said Bear. “A big brown bear.”
Fox looked at his painting. The beehive did sort of look like a big brown bear now.
“What a surprise!” said Bear, hugging his friend.
“Yes, it is,” said Fox. “And we’re having lemonade and bread-and-mayonnaise sandwiches for our lunch.”
“Sounds interesting,” said Bear.
Fox grinned. “I knew you’d like my cooking,” he said.
叮咚！小狐狸跑去开门。
“我来啦。”熊熊高兴地说。
“哦，亲爱的——我想说，哈罗！”小狐狸说道。他试着挡在画儿前面。
“你在藏什么呢？”熊熊问道。
“呃，嗯，是一个惊喜。”小狐狸移开了身子。
“是我的画像！”熊熊说道，“一只大棕熊。”
小狐狸看着自己的画儿。蜂巢现在看起来的确有点儿像一只大棕熊。
“真是一个大大的惊喜！”熊熊说道，紧紧地跟小狐狸拥抱在一起。
“是的，是的。”小狐狸说道，“我们的午餐会有柠檬水和面包蛋黄酱三文治。”
“听起来很有趣嘛。”熊熊说道。
小狐狸咧开嘴巴笑了，“我就知道你会喜欢我做的食物。”他说。
