日常口语：“乘地铁”须知 20080515

[size=1][size=12pt]我们总是有很多杂事要办，比如寄个信啦，买个东西啦，取款、领钱等等。这个“办点杂事”可以用 run errands 来表示。[/size][/size]
[size=1][size=12pt]Errands 指的是短的行程，像寄信这些小事都走不了多远，所以run some errands 或是 do some errands 就可以表示“办点杂事”，比如：[/size][/size]
[size=1][size=12pt]She came late because she had to run a lot of errands before she came.[/size][/size]
[size=1][size=12pt]她来晚了，因为来以前她必须做许多杂事。[/size][/size]

[size=1][size=12pt]我要去办点杂事。[/size][/size]
[size=1][size=12pt]有一个词跟 run some errands 很像，就是 chore，指的就是“家务，杂务”。例如：After I finished chores, I sat down and had a cup of coffee.[/size][/size]
[size=1][size=12pt]曾经在广播上听到一句很感性的句子，那是在母亲节的时候吧，主持人说“I have to thank my mom. She spends her whole life taking care of her children and running errands.”就是说“我的母亲终其一生都在为照顾她的小孩和一些杂务奔波。”
