     2007年12月7日，国务院常务会议原则通过了《[color=#0000ff]国务院关于修改〈全国年节及纪念日放假办法〉的决定（草案[/color]）》和《[color=#0000ff]职工带薪年休假条例（草案[/color]）》。从明年开始，五一黄金周长假将向国人道拜拜。国家法定节假日调整内容公布 总天数增加1天。调整的主要内容包括：

[size=4]     [color=seagreen]1、国家法定节假日总天数增加1天，即由目前的10天增加到11天。[/color][/size]
[size=4][color=seagreen]2、对国家法定节假日时间安排进行调整：元旦放假1天不变；春节放假3天不变，但放假起始时间由农历年正月初一调整为除夕；“五一”国际劳动节由3天调整为1天，减少2天；“十一”国庆节放假3天不变；清明、端午、中秋增设为国家法定节假日，各放假1天(农历节日如遇闰月，以第一个月为休假日)。[/color][/size]

:funk: 这个有点难.The May Day "Golden week"  ,我用中文说下自己的意见吧.
过习惯了,还真有点不适应的,平时都是"五一,十一"去玩的,现在少了个'五一"了.:'(

虽说总的节日多了一天,但传统节日也就放一天,远在他乡的朋友要回家都不够时间的:D

My Golden week...
I will lost a nice chance to go out for travelling with my friends which can alleviates the working pressure .
but a coin has two sides, we can get a family reunion in the traditional holiday,and save some money.

whatever the government decide is fine to me.:-)
I have no idea about the golden week. I always stay home and .....

Every coin has two sides. But I agree to cancel the "golden week".
The "golden week" does have some advantages,such as stimulating the economy, accelerating the monetary circulation,but it really  begets some problens. It heaven the burden of  the traffc, the pollution and wasting of time and so on .
So, I definitely agree to the policy.

2006 first three days having nice sleeping,another three days playing games,last day doing homeword(a lot of).2007my teacher so angry ,first six days go to school,last doing homework(a lot of).2008 only one day,my teacher must take pity on me,maybe a really Labor Day wait for me.

That's a joke.Golden week takes too many sightseers to scenic spot,which is a serious load.To disperse vacation can lead us to really enjoying natural perfection.I can't imagine the number of people is more than grass .

Why not is four days for the Spring Festival

I think this problem is not controlled by us, but it is important that goverment should set more holiday for people via the law . The May 1th  "golden week" is canceled which will not affect me, because I often work on this time. I have a puzzle why the Spring Festival holiday only is three days. The tradition Spring Festival is three days in China from 1th to 3th  lunar January. Why not is four days for the Spring Festival?:hxen10: :hxen10: :hxen10:

I hope the Golden Week will come back. But I still belive that the government had maken a wise choice.
We are young, so maybe we didn't find the negative side of the Golden Week.

everything have two sides,but in my opinion,i think it is a good ideal.because this can help the children and the yong people know more about the tradition.lots of people can have more time to get touch with their relations.support!:hxen8:

three days is enough for travel

i approve this dicision. three day is enough.

Since  the  policy  of  abolishing  the  May  Day  golden  week  come  out,  it  has  caused  much  controversy.  Policy  makers  insist  on  that  it  would  do  more  good   than  harm  while  some  folks  think  oppositely.  
    According  to  the  result  of  a  massive  online  poll,  quite  a  few  people  are  against  it,
and  think  government  officials  don't   listen  to  public  voices  at  all  before  making  such
a  policy.  Some  worry  that  it  turns  impossible  to  travel  long  distances  once  a  long  holiday  is  divided  into  several  small  one-day   holiday.  Some  others  fear  that  it  will strengthen  the  strains  of  transports  during  other  long  holiday   and  give  rise  to  more
serious  pollution  and  waste  in  tourist  destinations.
      Migrant  workers  don't  seem  to  welcome  this  new  plan  because  it  has  nothing  to  do  with  their  vacation.  Whereas,  their  earning   goes  down  due  to  the
shortening  of  golden  week.
     As  for  college  students,  it  just  serves  as  a  couple  of  lazy  days  on  the  campus  or  in  the  street  for  time  is  too  short  to  go  anywhere  outside.
     So   in  my  view,  although  our  government  determined  to  work  out  such  a  plan  for  the  purpose  of   increasing  the  public  awareness  of  traditional  festivals , does  it  really
work  in  reality?  I'm  afraid  it  makes  no  sense  except  some  insignificant  holiday  days.
After  all,  the  public  shows  no  favor  to  it.
